Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2026
On The Rise Projects LLC provides residential home improvement, renovation, remodeling, repair, and related property improvement services. Because each project is different, refunds and cancellations depend on the applicable proposal, contract, work completed, materials ordered, and applicable law.
1. Project Cancellations
Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing as soon as possible. Any cancellation or rescission rights required by applicable law or stated in the customer’s written home improvement contract will be honored.
2. Deposits and Payments
Deposits and progress payments are applied according to the customer’s written agreement and project schedule. Refund eligibility may depend on work already performed, materials or products already ordered or purchased, approved project expenses, and other commitments made for the project, subject to applicable law and the customer’s contract.
3. Refund Requests
If a customer believes a refund is due, On The Rise Projects will review the request together with the signed agreement, payment history, project status, completed work, and applicable project costs. Any refund legally or contractually due will be returned using a reasonable payment method, ordinarily the original payment method when available.
4. Custom and Special-Order Materials
Custom, made-to-order, specially sourced, or non-returnable materials may be subject to supplier cancellation, restocking, or non-refundable terms. Any such treatment will remain subject to the customer’s contract and applicable law.
5. Completed Work
Amounts properly earned for work already completed are generally not refundable, except where otherwise required by law or the applicable written agreement. Concerns regarding workmanship should be reported promptly so they can be reviewed under the applicable project agreement.
6. Changes to Scope
Customer-requested changes, additions, substitutions, or reductions to the agreed scope may affect project pricing and payment obligations. Material changes should be documented through an approved change order or other written project documentation.
7. Billing Concerns
Customers with questions about a payment or invoice are encouraged to contact us promptly so we can review the project records and attempt to resolve the concern. Nothing in this policy limits any rights a customer may have under applicable law or through a financial institution.
8. Contract Controls
This website policy is a general summary. Individual projects are governed by their applicable written proposal or home improvement contract. If this policy conflicts with a requirement of applicable law, the applicable law controls.
